why your art matters

The difference between imagination + creativity is implementation. Anyone can imagine new ideas, concepts or anything really, but does the work ever really get done?

We often feel like followers, numbers + money are the only thing that matter, but when you take a closer look, the only people making money are those that are properly connecting with their audience.

Where do companies get their campaign ideas from? How did they become so influential?

Well, the answer is creative talent. Yes, the same people that get made fun of for being “unemployed” or not making millions like their corporate counterparts. Ironic isn’t it?

Creatives have spent their lives daydreaming and bringing their visions to life. This raw creativity cannot be replaced. Your gift of being able to deliver a message and connect with an audience is rare, it’s so special and sought after, tax them!

Another reason your art matter: Self- Expression. The place where you create from is forever changing, your moods evolve and so do you. Your ability to use any medium to connect your truth is priceless.

Authenticity, let’s talk about how many ideas are stolen or recycled. Why don’t companies just hire an A&R and call it a day? We don’t know either. In the meantime, worry about connecting with yourself and cultivating the healthy space you’re creating from.

Think about how you feel after you’re done with your piece. You feel high from accomplishment and the gratification becomes overwhelmingly joyful, but in a weird way you miss your piece, so you begin the creativity cycle again. Throughout this process, whether you realize it or not, you are actually balancing internally, you are able to self-express and release what you’re experiencing at the moment.

Thanks to your transparency and vulnerability, you’re able to connect organically with millions. Companies know this, they just lack everything else we covered here. So, are you going to keep a high school tab or are you ready to honor your craft and growth?

We see you, we honor you, we love you. Keep working on your art.
The right eyes will catch your work and a collaboration will be born, stay honest.

In the meantime, don’t forget to organize your work. Keep an updated portfolio or website with all of your work, stay prepared to meet expectations and multiply your success!
